All-Rookie Team 2009 and Playoff Predictions Round 2

Here are the results of the 2009 All-Rookie team.

Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls and O.J. Mayo were unanimous picks for the team, and OKC's Russell Westbrook, New Jersey's Brook Lopez, and Miami's Michael Beasley joined them as the other members of the All-Rookie first team.

The second team started out with Eric Gordon of the Clippers, the T-Wolves' Kevin Love, Mario Chalmers of the Heat, Pau Gasol's brother Marc of the Grizzlies, Portland's Rudy Fernandez, and Charlotte's D.J. Augustin.
I will talk about the matchups of the second round, and the! n write about the Bulls-Celtics series once it is over. And the Miami-Atlanta series as well.

West
1 Lakers-5 Rockets
Prediction: Lakers in 6
Comments: Yao Ming and Ron Artest managed to push Houston out of the first round for the first time since 1997. But the Lakers are up and ready after throwing aside Utah in the first round, they are destined to thrash the Rockets in this next round.

2 Nuggets-6 Mavericks
Prediction: Nuggets in 6
Comments: The Mavs easily got passed San Antonio in the first round, and you could say it was because of Manu Ginobili's absense. But, I am just saying the Spurs are fading away and getting older. The Mavericks are as well, but they still had more life than San Antonio did in that series! . On the other side, the Nuggets have been playing terrific, a! nd one o f the reasons is because coach George Karl has greatly improved their defense. I think Denver can take this series in 6 games if they keep playing like they did in the first round.
