USA slides by Lithuania, next stop is Russia.


Dwyane Wade had 19 points to hold off Sarunas Jasikevicius and Lithuania 120-84.

U.S. guard Kobe Bryant was in charge of keeping Jasikevicius from getting too hot from the field, holding him to only 9 points and 3 assists, after 4 years ago in Athens he blasted USA by scoring 28 points.

Dwight Howard added 17, Michael Redd had 16 {4-8 3 pointers}, LeBron James had 15, and Bryant had 13.

Backup point guards Chris Paul and Deron Williams had 7 assists and 6 points each while main PG Jason Kidd struggled once again and had 2 points and 2 assists. Also, Carmelo Anthony had 11 points.

Denver Nuggets forward Linas Kleiza had 8 points and 5 rebounds off the bench for Lithuania.
